So, I'm taking just a small break to share with y'all something special that happened this past Lord's day! =) Today, I taught a class to the children of Providence Church. In an effort to prepare them for our upcoming Reformation Day Faire, we discussed the first question of the Westminster Shorter Catechism, which is: What is the chief end of man? Answer: Man's chief end is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever! As we dug into the answer of this question, we came across what it means to glorify God. I had studied about it earlier, before coming in to teach them, and I pointed out that WE cannot make God anymore glorious then He is already. His glory is so great that we can do nothing to make Him more so. We are like a mirror. If you look into the mirror, what do you see? You see a reflection! That is what we are! We are to be a mirror reflecting God's glory! In Psalm 19:1 it says: "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his han...

Do you ever have those days where you feel like your riding in an elevator? Well, let's just say that's how this visit seemed like! Going up and down, back and forth! We had many things going on, but thankfully we got to do them with some pretty brilliant people! I don't have as long of a post as I would like because my other pictures are on the other computers. So, a longer post will have to wait until I don't feel as lazy to get down there and put them up! As you can tell in the photo above, Lilyana LOVES her tongue! She seemed to always have it sticking out of her mouth! Such a doll! <3 Of course, she was showered with a TON of attention! Wondering if she could stop smiling..... Thanks to Tiff, the kids got a nice workout! Awhile before the Greek and Hawaiian food we had some French food! It consisted of Beef Bourguignon , Pommes Anna Potatoes, and Salade Verte . Lilyana likes making faces at the camera with mommy!<3 Playing a game Tiff and Anton taught us....

Well, here I am again! It's been a very long, yet incredibly wonderful two weeks spent with some of my most favorite people in the world! Above is a photo for my friends and family who are Dr. Who fans! =) My dad is so brilliant....don't you think?!?!? =) I should tell you right now, it's not been a laid back, none stressful 2 weeks. Miss Suzy thought otherwise...... We have been busy preparing for our Ladies Tea, making meals (which I'm working on Eating Healthy Around the World from A to Z. Thanks to my sister and BIL for the inspiration!) Below is our Greek dish consisting of hummus, feta and mint dip, stuffed grape leaves, and grilled butterfly chicken ! At first William wasn't too sure about the grape leaves, but after he HAD to eat one, he kept asking for more! William LOVED cuddling with his sweet niece! The next night we had Hawaiian Food, which consisted of Coconut Curry Chicken, Sautéed Onions, Garlic, and Green Beans (fresh from our neighbors garden!), ...
