"'Merica! Land of The Free Because of The Brave!"

I decided to start with something I’ve been convicted of as of late and my husband encouraged me to share it...so! Here goes! 

Here’s a question you should ask yourself. What is the main purpose of my friendship with others? Is it to tear apart others, discuss who did what or said something or even what they wore? Or is it to discuss how you’re raising your kids to glorify God, what God is teaching you in your life or things that are happening with YOU without mentioning anyone else? Are we raising each other up or giving others a bad name? 

 Lately our family has really enjoyed taking bike rides into Morton to visit a little park that’s recently been built! It’s small and the kids LOVE it so much! Plus it gives them some time to run off some steam! It’s been a huge blessing for us especially with young ones! I’m so thankful we’ve found an activity all of us enjoy doing together! Below are some photos of one of our visits this past week....













I don't know about y'all, but the Fourth was hot! And then God!! He let the skies pour down their cooling waters and He made it wonderfully lovely outside! The kids thoroughly enjoyed running through a GIANT puddle and getting soaked, eating lots of delicious food, seeing Grandparents and eating s'mores! Winston gave them his approval! Unfortunately Oswin was having too much fun playing with cousins she wasn't around us much. Winston still needs to be watched closely which is why he's in lots of photos! =) Hope y'all enjoy them!!






Two years ago I was pregnant with Winston and he was the size of a lemon! A year ago he was almost 6 months old! And the day before! He's almost 1 1/2 years old!! How can this be?!?! 


Every year we get a family photo done! I believe this was our first annual event we went to shortly after we were married! It so awesome to see our family change over the years! ALWAYS for the better, of course!! =)

Added this one, just cause I like it best! =) What I've been working on, because these are much needed very soon! The Spare- oom is for my sister and brother-in-law. They are putting it above their baby's room which is also the guest room/stash room/sewing room! Couldn't decide which one I liked better....=P 1.... and 2! This is for my brother and soon-to-be Sister-in-law! I've made three of these and have gotten a good report...so this is what I give when people are getting married! =) Now to go conquer my Saturday, which it is now snowing after a HUGE rain/thunder storm last night. Welcome to the Himalayas!!!

So, as promised, here is PART 2 of our crazy weather! Snow cone? THE SUN IS SHINNING!!!! The three who were brave enough to venture into the great unknown! William and his "guys". Pulling Em out of a drift! Our lane.... The neighbor was kind enough to move the snow to the sides of the rode....thus making HUGE walls on either side! In the country there a LOTS of new games to play. THIS one is called FIND THE DRIVEWAY! Em in a drift.... One happy and rather cold girl! He's not sad.... he's a happy boy! Emma, cooking in style..... Abby stayed inside..she thought it was a better view from the window. Is there anything better then a nice cup of Chai tea while looking out at a frozen wasteland? hike (h k) v. hiked , hik·ing , hikes v. intr. 1. To go on an extended walk for pleasure or exercise. 2. To rise, especially to rise upward out of place. Jasmine decided to come along, even though she had to be lifted up just once! Mr. Hector demonstrating what his kids have done through the ages!
