Hey y’all!! My fellow friends who enjoy a peek into our life! :-) These weeks seem to be flying by and it’s hard to remember what has happened and when because it’s like a flash! One day it’s here....the next day GONE! About a week ago we got to celebrate a little firefly turning one!! It’s amazing to watch my nieces and nephews grow up and even more awesome to see them grow up side by side with my babies! Like I said, time is just zooming by! My nieces party was so fun and filled with such happy memories!! And she’s such a doll anyhow! Well, our weeks have been filled to the brim with decluttering our house, cleaning the house, raising our kids, bible readings, documentaries, and just all around craziness!! I tried to take the kids out to the zoo for it’s free day but the humidity was SO BAD Oswin was begging to go home within 5 minutes of being there! I’m praying we’re able to take them out to the Saint Louis zoo very soon!! I’m positive they’d LOVE it!! Plus,

Hey yall!! So about a week ago I got the most wonderful news (yet again!! Never gets old) that I became an aunt again!! My Wonder Woman of a sister-in-law brought my sweet little niece into this world after a long 39 hr labor. Definitely Wonder Woman if you ask me! :-) This past Wednesday we got the privilege of meeting the little thing in pink!! Anyhow! Without further ado....below are some pictures from that night!! Hope y’all enjoy! This past Sunday we got an even greater privilege of witnessing our niece get baptized into the kingdom of Christ!! Made me tear up a little!! Remembering the promises we made when we did the same and promising to come together as a body of Christ to be there for her too!  Well, I hope y’all enjoyed the pictures!!! They seriously don’t do enough justice!! She’s just the sweetest and cutest doll baby!! Anyhow, I’ll close now as I think up another blog post of my family’s life!! Y’all come back now, ya hear?!? :-)

I decided to start with something I’ve been convicted of as of late and my husband encouraged me to share it...so! Here goes!  Here’s a question you should ask yourself. What is the main purpose of my friendship with others? Is it to tear apart others, discuss who did what or said something or even what they wore? Or is it to discuss how you’re raising your kids to glorify God, what God is teaching you in your life or things that are happening with YOU without mentioning anyone else? Are we raising each other up or giving others a bad name?   Lately our family has really enjoyed taking bike rides into Morton to visit a little park that’s recently been built! It’s small and the kids LOVE it so much! Plus it gives them some time to run off some steam! It’s been a huge blessing for us especially with young ones! I’m so thankful we’ve found an activity all of us enjoy doing together! Below are some photos of one of our visits this past week....

“This Is The Life...”

Hey y’all! Yes, it’s been quite a long time since I’ve posted on here! Lots of living life, raising not one but TWO kids! Four years of marriage, learning how to handle my own household, loads and LOADS of laundry and dishes! Life is good and I’m ever grateful that the Lord has given me so many days to learn and draw closer to Him! This year I’ve felt like I’ve drawn closer to God. It’s amazing what He does to shake up our lives in order to do so! Anyhow, like I said! I have not one child but two precious little ones! Oswin Katarina is such an amazing, most imaginative and spunky three year old! Life with her is NEVER dull! Winston Taylor is my giant boy full of energy, but ever so snugly one and a half year old! These two keep me on my toes but I wouldn’t ask for better kids! They’re ever so polite! If you sneeze they’ll say bless you then you’re welcome after you say thank you! But make sure you say thank you or they’ll remind you to do so! They say please when they ask for thi

"So I need an inner light, which I feel I never have enough of in the autumn." ~Leo Tolstoy, to Nikolay Strakhov Life has been a bit on the crazy side as well as sssslllllooooowwww. I have gone to two appointments for le bebe, heard the heartbeat, and now this child loves moving around and kicking...both my stomach and turning the opposite direction and kicking whatever is towards my back. It's a very strange yet amazingly wonderful feeling knowing that MY baby is in there and I'M going to be the mother. And, in a week we get to figure out if Ewok is a boy or girl!! Super psyched about that!!  Anyhow, the past few months have been filled to the brim of celebrating birthday's at my family's house (six!), spending the whole week with them, gearing up for cooking food for the BIG evening meal at Reformation Day 2013, getting back home to clean, read, eat and MAKE FOOD!!! I'm so happy that I only feel sick in the mornings until noon.....this way I can
