Snapshot Expressions

Sorry for not posting LAST night...I had a rather terrible head-ache from not drinking water ALL day long and standing in the state Capitol until way after noon with no protein. Not bright...no? Anyhow, here I am head-ache free and a blog post awaits! Since I am still in my fathers house and thus have no Valentine (as of yet) on this day, the 14 th of February, I decided we should plan a dinner for my parents! They'd rather not go out when ALL of the restaurants are jam packed full of people for a nice romantic evening. I'm mean, come on! Would you?!?! So, after MUCH planning we decided on a nice dinner for them, sent them out for the afternoon while we perfected everything. Thus making it more fun and keeping the theme a secret! =) By now, you've probably guessed as to what the theme of the meal was! =) The kids were thrilled about the whole thing! So, as promised....here is a post about our monthly Hymn-Sing! It was a smaller crowd this time, due to so many being down with the flu..=\ But, all-in-all it was a great group and we filled the sanctuary with music! Below is a picture of some of the adults talking....obviously! But, I think they're having a grand time! =) The young people played a game of Jungle Speed (I really hate that game) before the singing commenced! AND this would be most of them....some were either playing piano, violin, or talking...like David and his group there in the background. And sweet William! I love that kid!! The singing has started, and these three girls enjoyed themselves! The Price family recited a psalm.... (I love the look on David's face.....PRICELESS!!) "Or dreamin' in colour...." When there's no colour outdoors, one must bring some colour into this black and white world! And when there's work to be done, music is ALWAYS a must! So, after today I found out that boys are rather weird! They think that, in order to make a baby laugh, they have to 1. hit themselves repeatedly on the head saying ouch over and over, or 2. have the baby try to touch their faces then yell and throw themselves to the ground. Yet again, over and over....personally you guys have serious thrill issues. Anywho , as I was working getting ready for company I took a look out the nearest window and saw how extremely dismal it looks....*sniffs* I want spring to come quickly! To brighten my day (and Abby's) I made wheat free and dairy free coconut snowball cookies for a dessert...I think she was happy! =) My mom is on this CRAZY out-of-this-world diet that her doctor prescribed. Which is taking her off of any dairy, wheat, peanut...and so forth. (if I wrote it all down, I could make a post out of it, it's so long!) So, we have been off of so many things...I finally decided we could make mashed potatoes with coconut milk, a coconut-lime...
