God's wonders, even in the small things!

"The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders;
where morning dawns, where evening fades,
you call forth songs of joy." ~ Psalm 65:8 As I went to my room tonight, I happened to look out the window to see the sun casting a lovely golden ray on the tree in our neighbors yard! So, being who I am, I quickly ran downstairs (without killing myself) , grabbed the camera and rushed out the door! Since I got here, I hadn't realized how many things have started to bloom!! Spring is definitely on it's way, and that makes me incredibly happy!

"He has caused his wonders to be remembered;
the LORD is gracious and compassionate." ~ Psalm 111:4

Tonight, I'm giving thanks to God for the many wonders He has placed into my life! I have been blessed beyond belief with a most gracious, caring, and forgiving family. I have a church community that is willing to help others, and serve as Christ served for us! Life is good, God is great and life these days is crazy! =)

I know, I must be nuts! Two blog post in one day! What can I say?!?!? Happy reading!

So, as promised, here is PART 2 of our crazy weather! Snow cone? THE SUN IS SHINNING!!!! The three who were brave enough to venture into the great unknown! William and his "guys". Pulling Em out of a drift! Our lane.... The neighbor was kind enough to move the snow to the sides of the rode....thus making HUGE walls on either side! In the country there a LOTS of new games to play. THIS one is called FIND THE DRIVEWAY! Em in a drift.... One happy and rather cold girl! He's not sad.... he's a happy boy! Emma, cooking in style..... Abby stayed inside..she thought it was a better view from the window. Is there anything better then a nice cup of Chai tea while looking out at a frozen wasteland? "Work, work all week long..."

Added this one, just cause I like it best! =) What I've been working on, because these are much needed very soon! The Spare- oom is for my sister and brother-in-law. They are putting it above their baby's room which is also the guest room/stash room/sewing room! Couldn't decide which one I liked better....=P 1.... and 2! This is for my brother and soon-to-be Sister-in-law! I've made three of these and have gotten a good report...so this is what I give when people are getting married! =) Now to go conquer my Saturday, which it is now snowing after a HUGE rain/thunder storm last night. "Chasing the Sun..."

Well, here I am after a FULL day of snow, sun, family, friends, fun, and sweet fellowship! Wow! What can I say....it was cold, fun, crazy and did I mention it was cold? Our day started with sauteing the onions and garlic. Adding the beef and other such stuff to make a great southern Chili! Of course we had to make one not so spicy for those who cannot tolerate the taste of a Chipotle pepper! So, below we have Jessica (who did go out and play in the snow) stirring the stuff in a BIG pot! When I woke up the sun wasn't out....I was pretty bummed but was okay about it since we were going to have fun. The sun came out right before the Evans family arrived!! *bliss* God must have sent a blessing my way! Today is Jedidiah Evans Birthday, so we all got to sing for him!!
