Snapshot Expressions

So, this morning happened to be my favorite morning of the year thus far! The sun was shinning through the window, and birds were filling the outdoors with song!! What could be more glorious then waking up to that sound and sight?!?!? A little later on in the day, Caleb decided it was high time to start boiling the sap down. The kids thought they would like to help too, but played horse instead! =) Next few shots are of Caleb kindly chopping the wood for the fire! Isn't he a sweet brother?!?!? ;-) There are going to be allot of pictures with Caleb in them. I thought that I should get plenty since I won't be seeing him for almost a month!! He's heading down with a group (I think) to TN to help some friends build a fence. I will be off to FL to help a family out for 2 weeks the day he gets home, so we will JUST be missing each other by a few hours or so. Kind of sad, but I suppose people must grow up sooner then later and learn to get along without the other, although it'...

Since we didn't really know what, we kind of followed others advice! So, hopefully it turns out alright! As you can see, we tap in style! *laughs* The sap is kind of clear...I hope that's a good thing! =) IT WAS SUNNY TODAY!!! After so many rainy days, sunshine is most welcomed! =) Well, that's pretty much it for today....we have had a rather busy week and are looking forward to some friends coming over tomorrow!! Well, kind of! Our power went out, so we waited for it to come back on for awhile....never did so the generator got started! Now it's back on and raining.....but while it was off, I decided that pictures with an oil lamp and a little girl who had a turban on her head would be a grand idea! =) And this is what I got out of it! I love how fat her nose looks in this one! You should be scared...really, really scared! Today my mom wrote an article for her blog about saying "I'm sorry" and whether or not it's meaningful or just something to make resolution without being sincere. Anyhow, here are some shots I got for it! So, that's pretty much it for the day not including Caleb's and my work on tapping our trees! I'm hoping this time it works out! Saw this farm on our way to the Bridal shower yesterday, so I shot a picture of it on the way home! =) Made me grin! The finished project!! =) Now we come to Jills ' Bridal shower! nobody was allowed to say "wedding" or they got their lei taken away! Playing a few games... And more! Mother against Daughter There was MUCH laughter! Plenty of smiles! And some really nice presents! Jill got these really cool antique coco-cola plates and bowls for her kitchen! They are terribly cute! And out of the tissue paper, the bridesmaids made Jill a dress, flowers, bracelet, ring, veil, and shoes! Having fun! The bride and her bridesmaids...well, missing me!
