So, tapping our trees has been an adventure! Since we didn't really know what, we kind of followed others advice! So, hopefully it turns out alright! As you can see, we tap in style! *laughs*
The sap is kind of clear...I hope that's a good thing! =)IT WAS SUNNY TODAY!!! After so many rainy days, sunshine is most welcomed! =)

Well, that's pretty much it for today....we have had a rather busy week and are looking forward to some friends coming over tomorrow!! T'will be mucho fun!

    Beautiful pics!
    Oh, and the sap is supposed to be clear. It looks like water. That's why it takes soooo much sap to make just a little brown syrup.

Added this one, just cause I like it best! =) What I've been working on, because these are much needed very soon! The Spare- oom is for my sister and brother-in-law. Welcome to the Himalayas!!!

So, as promised, here is PART 2 of our crazy weather! Snow cone? THE SUN IS SHINNING!!!! The three who were brave enough to venture into the great unknown! William and his "guys". Pulling Em out of a drift! Our lane.... The neighbor was kind enough to move the snow to the sides of the rode....thus making HUGE walls on either side! In the country there a LOTS of new games to play. THIS one is called FIND THE DRIVEWAY! Em in a drift.... One happy and rather cold girl! He's not sad.... he's a happy boy! Emma, cooking in style..... Abby stayed inside..she thought it was a better view from the window. Is there anything better then a nice cup of Chai tea while looking out at a frozen wasteland? Jasmine decided to come along, even though she had to be lifted up just once! Mr. Hector demonstrating what his kids have done through the ages! Yup, they tried to resemble the tree as best as they could! I think he did a pretty grand job! Dad, looking as dapper as ever with a gorgeous view in the background!
