Our church goes to a retirement home to sing for the elderly people each month. It's very encouraging when we get HUGE groups of them singing along with us! And it's so much fun to know that they sang these songs when they were younger!! What a blessing it is to let the younger generation praise God and spread His name to those who are in need of a Savior! Below are some pictures I took of this event.



After we sing and visit we go over to our friends house for an ice cream social! It's always a joy to sit and talk about old and new things!! So, I posted some pictures of that part too....


And of course, no post is fun without goofy pictures! Let's just blame it on the ice cream. =}

    I just started this past Sunday....I have been pressered for some time now and thought I could "try" it out. I'm not much of a writer, so it gets a bit difficult to really get what I want to say on here. But, so far I'm on a roll!! =)

    I have to say, love your photography!! You have been doing a GREAT job. I always like to go over to yours and just look around to see what y'all are up to! I'm one of those quiet people who hardly EVER comment. =} Now you know.....*hides*

Added this one, just cause I like it best! =) What I've been working on, because these are much needed very soon! The Spare- oom is for my sister and brother-in-law. They are putting it above their baby's room which is also the guest room/stash room/sewing room! Couldn't decide which one I liked better....=P 1.... and 2! This is for my brother and soon-to-be Sister-in-law! I've made three of these and have gotten a good report...so this is what I give when people are getting married! =) Now to go conquer my Saturday, which it is now snowing after a HUGE rain/thunder storm last night. Welcome to the Himalayas!!!

So, as promised, here is PART 2 of our crazy weather! Snow cone? THE SUN IS SHINNING!!!! The three who were brave enough to venture into the great unknown! William and his "guys". Pulling Em out of a drift! Our lane.... The neighbor was kind enough to move the snow to the sides of the rode....thus making HUGE walls on either side! In the country there a LOTS of new games to play. THIS one is called FIND THE DRIVEWAY! Em in a drift.... One happy and rather cold girl! He's not sad.... he's a happy boy! Emma, cooking in style..... Abby stayed inside..she thought it was a better view from the window. Is there anything better then a nice cup of Chai tea while looking out at a frozen wasteland? Some vanilla (I know, very random picture) to make.... White and milk chocolate cookies for the kind neighbor who shoveled our drive!! hike (h k) v. hiked , hik·ing , hikes v. intr. 1. To go on an extended walk for pleasure or exercise. 2. To rise, especially to rise upward out of place. Jasmine decided to come along, even though she had to be lifted up just once! Mr. Hector demonstrating what his kids have done through the ages! Yup, they tried to resemble the tree as best as they could! I think he did a pretty grand job! Dad, looking as dapper as ever with a gorgeous view in the background! Art Dad and Christa as we wait for people to climb up a hole. And there they are! My brother and I! Did I ever mention how much I love him?!?!? Grace, happy as ever! You see, she calls herself "Queen of all Dogs", so having a dog by her side is what places that grin on her face!
