"Saddle up your horses we've got a trail to blaze..."

So, after flying the plane, we got back to the house to mess around on the 4-wheeler! It was a rather enjoyable ride, since I have never actually ridden on one before until then! William had a great time riding with Peter! =)
And of course, when you have to wear these alien looking helmets, might as well try and look like one, eh?!?!? =DCaleb and the little man! He wasn't too fond of the pink helmet, but I told him only REAL men wear pink!

Caleb was willing to drive me on the 4-wheeler. In all honesty, I thought it was going to tip and I was going to die with that heavy thing on top of me! But, it was fun!

William and his friend, Faithy! They are so cute together!!

The picture says it all! Say cheese!! =D These were the coolest knives! Reflections are so much fun! Especially when you put your sister in it! =)
So, the next morning (which would have been a Wednesday) we got up at 4 in the morning, got on the road at 5:10 and started another long drive full of 926 miles! While we finished packing our cars it started to snow. That's right! SNOW!!! So, driving through the rest of CO was....um.....fun!

Then it started to rain, then snow AGAIN!

But, at least the kids were happy.....

and also they slept and listened to Adventures in Odyssey!

Of course, driving in sludge can be a GREAT big adventure, right?!?

Wondering how long this snow will last!

Our crew!

This was for my sister and brother-in-law! My grandfather calls their baby Noname because of not revealing her name until the baptism!

And of course, the Tardis went right with us through rain and snow!

"Through the wild blue yonder of God's amazing grace, let's follow our leader into the glorious unknown. This is a life like no other - this is The Great Adventure!"

"Come on get ready for the ride of your life
Gonna leave long faced religion in a cloud of dust behind!"

"And discover all the new horizons just waiting to be explored
This is what we were created for!!"
" We'll travel over, over mountains so high, we'll go through valleys below."Happy the sun decided to come out while driving through Utah and Nevada! Those places are so incredibly beautiful and have the BIGGEST skies ever!
Jess and Grace

"Still through it all we'll find that
This is the greatest journey that the human heart will ever see."

And this is another one for my fellow Dr. Who fans! If you've seen the Beast Below, you will understand what a great predicament we were in when we found this in our hotel lobby!

Well, this happens to be the end of this post! Next one will be an interesting one....(hopefully)! Praying y'all have one terrific Sabbath and Memorial weekend!

Y'all come back now, ya hear?!?!? {insert grin}

  1. I looks like you all had a great time with the Chapas'! I loved it when we went over the Rockies. It is pretty amazing being in the sun right before entering the mountains, and then driving through the snow. I love the snow though!:)

I love the picture of Jess with the knife. Thanks for sharing!

  2. We sure did have a grand time with them! And I have to agree, going over and through the Rocky Mountains was pretty thrilling! Even with the snow! We were all in flip-flops and dad had shorts on, so we looked like a bunch of tourist not really knowing how to dress properly! *laughs*

T'was memorable, so I guess that's all that counts! And those knives were the COOLEST things!
